Introduction
It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend and submit papers to the 2027 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Smart Sustainable Systems for Computer and Engineering Applications (3SCEA2027), which will be held at April 20-22, 2027, Alexandria, Egypt. 3SCEA2027, partially sponsored by IEEE Egypt Section, a premier global event dedicated to exploring cutting-edge technologies and innovations that merge smart systems with sustainability. As we face unprecedented global challenges in both environmental sustainability and technological advancements, the role of smart systems in shaping the future of engineering applications has never been more critical.
The 3SCEA2027 conference brings together thought leaders, scientists, engineers, practitioners, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to present their latest research results and discuss novel technologies that are transforming industries and communities in a sustainable direction. The conference highlights advancements in all areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) for smart infrastructure, green computing and energy-efficient technologies, cyber-physical systems for smart engineering, renewable energy systems and smart grids, sustainable materials and advanced manufacturing.
3SCEA2027 seeks to create a collaborative environment that fosters knowledge exchange and innovation, driving the adoption of sustainable solutions in computer science and engineering applications. By bringing together the brightest minds in academia, industry, and government, we aim to accelerate the development and implementation of smart sustainable systems that address the pressing needs of today and the future. Submission instructions
Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings published in IEEE Xplore digital library covered by Scopus and EI indexing. We encourage contributions with a mix of authors from industry, academia, and government offering innovative solutions and real-world insights: Original, unpublished, high-quality manuscripts are invited. Any article that includes AI-generated content is not accepted. Format should be written in English (10-point font, A4 size paper) via Microsoft CMT in the double-column standard IEEE format.
Regular papers
Novel and mature research work (4000-6000 words, up to 10 pages including references).
Short papers
Work in progress with validation results, experience reports, new ideas and visionary papers (2500-3000 words, up to 6 pages including references).
Applications / industrial
Practical case studies, benchmark tools, and empirical studies addressing real-world industrial challenges (2500-3000 words, up to 8 pages including references).
PhD posters
Doctoral students can showcase their research to highlight ongoing work, receive feedback, and exchange ideas (up to 2 pages including references).
High-school & undergrad
Young researchers early in their academic careers present innovative ideas and projects within computer science and engineering (2500-3000 words, up to 5 pages including references).
Format Check
All types of papers should strictly follow page limits. Checked via anti-plagiarism and anti-AI generation software. Double-anonymous review process applies.
Best Paper Award
The IEEE 3SCEA2027 Conference Organizing Committee will select 3 papers for the Best Paper Award (1st Rank, 2nd Rank and 3rd Rank). The selection will be based on the established review criteria: originality, technical soundness, potential impact, significance, and quality of presentation. The Best Paper Award certificates and gifts will be presented in person during the conference.
